We are so excited!!!

Vacation Bible School 2025 is finally here!!

We had an amazing time at our Jungle-Themed Vacation Bible School last week! With over 95 children in attendance and more than 40 dedicated volunteers, our church was filled with energy, excitement, and the love of God. Special shout out to our youth - we had over 20 teenagers wake up early on their summer breaks to help out each day and make VBS extra fun for these children! Way to lead by example!

Throughout the week, the kids explored important truths about who God is and how they are important, cared for, loved, forgiven, and called by God. Through engaging stories about Samuel, Queen Esther, Peter, Jesus, and the early church, the children learned not only Bible facts but also what it means to live out their faith and share God's love with others.

It was especially meaningful to welcome children who had never been to church before. Watching them ask questions, discover biblical truths, and grow in their understanding of God was a joy and a blessing to witness.

A heartfelt thank you to each and every volunteer who gave of their time, resources, and prayers to make this week a success. Your generosity and dedication truly made a lasting impact—and helped plant seeds of faith that will continue to grow!

Blessings,

Hannah Bland

What to expect...

  • Daily Schedule: Students will arrive each day between 8:45 and 9am where we'll start out together in large group to go over rules, introduce the daily topic, sing songs, and see if and what else has gone missing... Then, we'll divide everyone into small groups by age/grade to have time of music, bible lesson, snack, game time, and craft before meeting up the final few minutes to review our day

  • Snacks are provided daily! Please be sure to notate any allergies or food sensitivities when you register your child.

  • There will be a closing ceremony/performance on Friday at 11:30 am in our Sanctuary where the children will sing their songs for you!

  • This year's VBS donations will go to help stock our Blessing Box pantry. To learn more about our Blessing Box, click here.

  • A little competition goes a long way... Everyone who brings in monetary or tangible donations will have the chance to vote for the teen leader of their choice who will have to chug a Happy Meal Milkshake at the end of the week! You read that right... cheeseburger? check! Nuggets & sauce? Check! French fries? Check! Milkshake... Check! It's all going into a blender that one of our brave youth will drink on the final day. Every donation equals one vote!

  • All volunteers who work with children, youth, and vulnerable adults are required to have a background check per our Safe Sanctuaries policy. If you'd like to learn more about our Safe Sanctuaries policy, click here
