Extended Day Options
Early Drop Off:
EARLY DROP OFF or EDO, provides a convenient early care option for families with children needing supervision before our classes begin. Available every school day starting at 8:15 a.m., EDO offers children a safe and engaging environment with supervised play before they are escorted to their classrooms.
EDO is a great choice for mornings when an earlier drop-off is needed or for families with older children attending other programs. EDO may be paid for on a daily basis with 24 hours advance notice or on a monthly basis at a discounted rate. Notifications of drop-ins should be made 24 hours in advance by email to: loriedaniel@fumcwilson.org.

After School Care:
FOUNDATIONS KIDS is an after school program offered through the Foundation YMCA of Wilson that focuses on the whole child and on building caring, honest, responsible, and respectful children. Certified educators will use a theme-based curriculum to teach and enhance foundational skills in fun and meaningful ways.
Foundation Kids is currently open to students in our Explorers pre-K classes for four-year-olds and our Trailblazers Kindergarten class. A maximum of 20 students will be accepted into the program for the 2026-2027 school year.
Foundation Kids is also open to students in our Building Blocks classes for three-year-olds in addition to our Explorers and Trailblazers students on a drop-in basis for a daily fee.
Our Foundation Kids after school program is a great option for families who want the benefits of an exceptional Pre-K and Kindergarten program but prefer an extended schedule for their student.

Drop-in students must be registered, approved by the program director, and payment received at least 24 hours prior to the date of attendance.
