Director of Communications

The Director of Communication is responsible for developing and overseeing the communication strategy to advance the mission and vision of First United Methodist Church. The Director will work with the senior pastor and Communications Ministry Area Team to develop a Strategic Communications Plan. The Director will work with all components of communication (print, recorded, social media, visual) to ensure that all Strategic  Communications Plans are met.  The Director will work closely with the pastor/s, staff members, lay leadership, and communications ministry area leaders to support and enhance communication among the ministry areas, members of the church, and community.
